When the term “big back” got introduced into the vocab, it undid all the body positivity society fought for. Everyone got comfortable with being fat phobic. People fought for decades for body positivity and this generation ruined that.

Being fat is not body positive and if you encourage them you’re not helping. These is probably the most obese the world has been period. If you’re fat I don’t feel sorry for you

I’m not arguing with anyone that’s what the block button is for. Half of you guys are straight up miserable and hate yourselves. So you get mad when you see other people loving themselves. You choose to hate yourself and telling a bigger person that they’re disgusting, ugly and need to lose weight doesn’t help. Nobody’s glorifying obesity but you don’t know why that person is plus size. Most times it’s not food instead of being a dick. Go to a OBGYN center or a weight loss clinic ask them 1/2

i think people get carried away with the term body positivity and use it to refer to people actively killing themselves through unhealthy life choices. someone with a drinking problem is an alcoholic. someone with a drug addiction is an addict. someone who is eating themselves to the point of health problems is OBESE.

self love and loving yourself, trusting the process of bettering yourself is body positivity. coming to terms with physical traits that you cannot change is body positivity. celebrating terrible lifestyle choices is not.

“What causes someone to be bigger?” I can guarantee you that the majority of the time, it is underlying medical conditions that they’re unaware of. Get a life and a reality check.
