Then you could also say: If being a caretaker is part of your “core identity” then men are naturally going to wonder how you’ll take care of us (cooking, cleaning, etc.) (for the record I disagree with both of these takes because imo they’re illogical and unfair in today’s world)

sure sure. but the point is that if you voluntarily make a specific role central to your identity, people are allowed to consider that role when deciding whether you’re compatible.
