I really don’t understand how people struggle to lose weight. Like why don’t you just eat less??

Most of them just don’t understand what a calorie deficit is and that it’s the only way to lose weight. They think “I’m eating healthy food idk why I’m still fat” but don’t even count the calories and/or don’t workout enough each day to balance it out.

That’s impossible. Losing weight is as simple as calories in calories out. If you “eat less” without losing weight it means you aren’t eating less

It’s not the most common experience, but it is possible. The way people gain and lose weight is a lot more complex than you’d think, there are lots of different physiologies Maybe you just want people to completely starve themselves? But that’s different from just eating less

The laws of thermodynamics don’t change from person to person. It’s literally as simple as a calorie deficit. That’s true for every person in the world

There was once a point in my life where I was overweight and attempted to lose weight by just nearly starving myself and doing nothing else. The medicine I was taking, my depression, and my lack of activity kept me at the same exact weight Bodies are more complex than you’d think, simply eating less doesn’t work for everyone
