I mean i have parents like this. they literally screamed at me and threatened to throw out my stuff and told me they were taking back most of my apartment space because it wasn’t what they wanted it to look like. I’m 24 :) the only reason they did this is because they know im financially dependent on them :))

Is this in the US? I couldn’t imagine having to deal with this lol but also I had an incident with my parents once where they were gone for the weekend I was 26 at the time and obviously had a girl over. We had all kinds of toys and stuff out that afternoon in my room and left to go eat something other than… anyways my parents came home early and for whatever fucking reason decided that the first thing they’re gonna do is clean my room. They touched EVERYTHING. I was mortified
