exactly this because i think you are hateful, you think i should not exist. we hate your beliefs, you hate us as people. these conservatives have no idea what it's like to really have people want you dead. people say mean words to them, but we get beaten in the street. they get internet hate and we get murdered. you cannot compare discrimination for an opinion to discrimination for an existance.

people can believe whatever they want. unfortunately when this comes to conservatives their ‘beliefs’ get turned into legislation that restricts MY ability to live life equally to straight people. don’t apologize for something you’re not sorry for.

working to ban gay marriage while straight marriage is never even brought up as an issue is just one off the top of my head. if you’re genuinely curious about this though you should look it up and find actual articles written that discuss this exact thing bc it’ll def be explained better than i can in a yikyak reply while high lol

Ehh that hasn’t actually been made legislation anywhere in the US though. But even the possibility of it supported by politicians is deeply concerning so I can see how it still has an effect on you. I swear a central party with super pragmatic boring takes, fiscally conservative while socially liberal and anti-establishment would do incredibly well rn

Yeah I don’t support same sex marriage but I don’t think it should be banned. You’re free to do what you want. Conversion therapy is banned in most states, but def don’t agree with it since a lot of it is just inhumane.

We definitely don’t think you shouldn’t exist, or hate you as people. We know you’re valuable and deserve as many rights as the next person. You don’t get beaten on the street or murdered now any more than conservatives or Christians do that’s such bs bro. We LITERALLY get murdered for our beliefs more often.
