I feel like it’s probably something to do with it not being flirty enough for them. Idk im a dude but I find it hilarious how many dudes on yikyak strike up a normal conversation and then they find out im a dude and block me. Like it’s a hilarious overreaction.

And that is? I’ve personally never blocked someone for no reason, so I’m unsure! I’m not trying to make a dig at guys, it’s just a pattern I’ve noticed :)

Idk maybe not fully the same reasons but guys either might regret what they say, not get what they want ik or the convo is Dead or the girl is weird

But why not just communicate the issue? Like if the convo is dead, voice that and try to change the subject by asking a question? And if that doesn’t work, letting them know that you’re not compatible. Why is blocking the initial reaction?

I understand if the girl is weird though. If a guy is being weird, like randomly making things sexual when I’ve already set those boundaries, that’s the only time I feel comfortable blocking.
