i think this is sweet. it’s stupid to act ignorant about your kid discovering sex because all it does is make them sneak around and feel uncomfortable bringing it up to you. the one and only time i had a pregnancy scare, i felt comfortable calling my mom and talking to her about it because she had created a space where sex wasn’t taboo. it was such a good convo that alleviated so much of my stress that i got my period the next day lmao

Wish my parents did this for me in stead of forcing me to get a rod in my arm

This is awesome! It would be perfect if there were a booklet about sexual health and testing resources.

this mother is clearly taking sex and its consequences seriously, just taking the financial and emotional burden of worrying about buying this stuff off of her kid and i think that’s a nice thing to do

That’s sexual abuse, if you don’t tell your partner about it before hand. Since, they most likely consented to protective sex only and poking condoms would be a breach of that agreement. You fucking donut. I hope no one has the misfortune of having any sort of intimacy with you.

Maybe they don’t necessarily support the act, but that they know it’s better to be open with your kids and encourage them to be safe than being unsupportive and the kid being secretive and risky.

Exactly. Much easier to go to your parents when something goes wrong for help instead of needing to sneak around to get care/testing
