i’m 30. if someone tried to set me up with a 23 y/o, i would be so pissed. the decision-making centers of your brain finish developing at 25-30. which means this man is dating someone biologically less capable of consenting than he is who is also around the age of his child. not technically illegal, but very morally perverse. i wish op peace even if they don’t understand why this is so wrong at their age and hope they consider reaching out to a trusted older adult or qualified counselor.

Age of consent is generally 16, but since were all adults and understand that anything below 18 with a grown adult is weird lets say the bar is at 18.
