Totally understandable, maybe buy something that’ll help with that in the future (pepper spray or gun). I understand the disappointment fs im sorry he didn’t go but try to entertain yourself while he plays games. With my ex I would color or play my own games

your boyfriend doesnt seem awfully concerned about something that clearly mattered to you.... he couldve played that game whenever he wanted reflect and think about other inconsiderate things he's done. think about how you're feeling and if this is what you want. im pro break up but do what you want. its ur life but this is a red flag imo

me being disappointed that someone cancelled a plan i genuinely cared about over a game that will always be there doesn’t necessarily indicate my lack of independence. he should’ve told me sooner. i would’ve been there with my friend. he wouldn’t have bailed on me lol 🤷‍♀️

Also that game might mean as much to him as your concert means to him. Different priorities for different people. You should try couples therapy if you care enough about him. Or not, I’m not the boss of you.

couples therapy for being disappointed? and the game is not sentimental to him i promise 😭 he knew about it last week, i asked again yesterday, he confirmed, then cancelled for a game. had he cancelled that morning instead of an hour prior i wouldn’t have cared and went anyway. what i feel is not ridiculous. i don’t care enough to try to explain something he knows he was shitty for. i have plans tonight with someone else so i’m good.
