Ever since I got a boyfriend, everyone is convinced that literally everything I do is meant to benefit my relationship/for his benefit, I can’t even be an individual person with my own goals to some of these people now

Dude I totally get this!! I’ll tell my parents that I’m doing something and they’ll be like “it’s because of that boyfriend isn’t it” and like no! I’m my own person!

Exactly!! Like I got a job in my college town so I won’t have to put in as much of a hassle for moving day and it’d be good for my resume and help for my tuition costs and they immediately assumed it was because I would be closer to my boyfriend
