Unless you’re a cop, the judge, prosecutor, etc. there’s no reason for him to stay silent on that and not explain if he was truly innocent. Obviously you have to be very careful with your words if you’re in an ongoing trial but privately telling your gf what happened is safe and normal. I met my fiancé when he was on probation (non violent possession) and he told me EVERY detail right away, even though his record was expunged and he easily could’ve hidden it from me.

and it’s like sometimes the one being investigated can be innocent, it could be a factor of wrong time wrong place. but most times, if he’s being investigated, he’s guilty. and the fact that he doesn’t even want to talk about it, proves that he’s guilty. i’m not going to ask what he’s being accused of, but immediately leave.

I know it’s innocent. It is a fact of habit since September one of my friends sent me the post I went lol is this you? He looked at me in the eyes of no, but then the post showed back up on my Facebook and I looked at it and I was like that’s his shirt.. how could he look in the eyes so calmly and lie and then when I catch him, he doesn’t even try to defend himself

That’s a great point. He’s literally the featured post on the cities Facebook that happened in September. They only posted it recently, but the investigations happen in September. That’s three months of lies.

so he’s lying and is involved in an assumably serious investigation, that’s a major red flag. you don’t want to get pulled into anything you didn’t sign up for. the safest move is to distance yourself from this person
