going from engineering to business is so funny but such a breath of fresh air. first semester of engineering i was learning shit like thermodynamics and my first semester of business has me learning what a manager does

Just wait til you get to any kind of finance. I hate business tax math with a passion. Astrophysics made so much more sense to me because money is just a fake concept to me, but the laws of the universe are more objective. Management classes are a joke though, it’s all just vocabulary memorization.

i'm kinda the opposite lol. money as a concept makes no sense to me but the business side of things does make sense to me. the accounting class is a bit of a struggle but it's my first week and i've only taken notes so far and haven't studied anything yet so i'm sure i'll get the hang of it. it can't be worse than me in chemistry or fundamentals of engineering

Trying to calculate overhead made me wanna die, hopefully you don’t have to go through that lol. It’s a great degree to have though, especially if you’re not quite sure what you want to do. Also helped me a ton with managing my own personal finances.

i have a good idea what i do want to do, but regardless it seems there's some flexibility incase shit hits the fan which i'm thankful for. i also joke with my family that i'm gonna do their taxes when i can lol
