Idk why being attached to material things is considered bad. I think its the antidote to over consumption. I’ve had the same sunglasses for 10 years. The same brush for 17 years. I love my things

This is the general interpretation of materialistic, your definition is the “correct” one. I think whoever said op is materialistic, I think they meant you, op, have an emotional attachment to inanimate objects, could be wrong, I ain’t no expert but that’s my thoughts
