Im thinking of contacting a lawyer after getting in an e-scooter accident last year that I’m still in pain from, I almost dropped out of school bc of the pain. I feel like i have no support tho and idk if i could handle another loss rn

If someone hit you and you have documentation/witnesses, go for it

I wasn’t hit on a scooter. I was going to a bird “parking zone” when the scooter didn’t brake ñ, I hit the curb, and went down. I broke a couple of bones from the impact, had to wear a cast/boot, and go to physical therapy to walk again. It took me months to be able to run again. Sometimes the spots where my bones broke ache

I told my mom I wanted to contact Bird to ask them to help with some of the medical costs like my cast, but she told me a lawyer was probably expensive and it intimidated me out of doing it

I think for most injury lawyers the consultation is free or relatively cheap, and it’s definitely free to find out if a consultation is free
