It’s probably a hot take but I seriously think poly people or people who wanna be poly have unresolved commitment issues and unchecked greed

Oh well people who aren't poly aren't doing any better. I feel the same about when people have critiques about gay people raising kids... the straight people aren't doing any better. So why complain about only one group

I love commitment so much I want to be committed to multiple people. The greed thing is fair tho

Greed maybe but a lot of the times they have better communication skills and commitment because it’s required. As someone who’s poly and has been in a poly relationship for many years

I see you, I hear you, I think you’re in a super small minority of successful poly relationships. Am I poly? No. I however went to an art college and still to this day haven’t seen a successful poly relationship from anyone I know or my poly friends. Usually the thing I’ve observed is someone breaks the established rules of the relationship out of greed or an inability to commit.

You could say that about monogamous relationships too. They’re just more saturated.

I’m probably just not articulating my point well cuz saturation has nothing to do with what I’m saying.

Sometimes I just wanna voice my thoughts. I didn’t say anything for or against any other group. Any comparison you’re drawing is your own projection
