I completely understand what u guys are saying and coming from, and I’ll take that into consideration. At the same time I don’t want to label myself as bi simply because I have feelings for this one girl. If she doesn’t feel the same way about me I can accept it but I also don’t see myself pursuing or having a crush on another girl. My feelings are specifically for her, and I think there’s a difference btwn being attracted to one person and identifying as bisexual.
Human sexuality can be weird, especially when you go into questioning for the first time. My advice is don't worry so much about trying to force a label on yourself to try and describe something that does not fit your own unique experience. I think you might have a few things to work out with yourself still, but that's ultimately going to be your journey to go on. Don't listen to the people trying to label it for you, coming from a bisexual person.
But to #4's point, it does feel shitty to be someone's experiment. If you really like this girl in the same way you felt about other romantic interests in the past, I'm not telling you not to pursue, but really take some time to reflect on yourself and how you feel about her first. This is presumptuous, but you seem a little defensive about the possibility of being a little queer. I would take your time with this and not rush into something if you might still have inner conflicts to work out.
Okay. I hope I haven't come off as rude at all, because I am genuinely sympathetic with your situation. I wouldn't worry about misrepresenting the community; the point of having the community is to find something that represents you. But I stand by my advice to not stress over labels. I wish you and this girl the best with whatever happens going forward.
