My ex would never compliment me bc he thought I was already confident enough, and didn't wanna inflate my ego. He'd genuinely get angry and be like 'Yeah. OBVIOUSLY you're fucking gorgeous, I don't need to tell you that 🙄😡 you know how you look.' 'YES (my name), you're very smart. Significantly smarter than me. It makes me feel like shit! I don't want to talk about it.' Some men are uh very insecure
