And I feel terrible, cs I really like him and he’s put a lot of money into spending time with me and getting me gifts (which, I told him a million and one times not to do bc of his financial situation), but I also noticed a pattern: if he wants sexual acts/thinks I’ll be receptive, he puts in more effort to talk to me and be a loving partner… if I turn him down/he thinks I won’t want it, then he doesn’t really put in much effort.

I don’t know, cs when he puts in effort, it feels like bliss, but when he doesn’t put in effort, he’ll be distant, no matter how I try to get conversations going, and suddenly it’ll go from instant replies and effort made to suddenly not hearing from him for hours and getting dry responses whenever I do hear from him
