I think the issue is that people will say “all men” or be speaking out men overall and then the men who don’t see themselves this way and disagree speak up trying to correct your statement. Not completely unreasonable

I don’t see myself that way, I’m aware of the nuances and reasons for women feeling that way, and I don’t feel called out I’m just supportive it’s not that hard

It just creates problems for yourself because that group is probably a good portion of the population and there’s going to be plenty of people in that demographic that aren’t happy to see themselves put in that light
