there’s a difference between a stay at home mom and a trad wife, i think that’s what a lot of people don’t understand. a stay-at-home mom is simply a mother who doesn’t work outside the home and primarily cares for her children, while a trad wife is a broader ideological lifestyle centered on traditional gender roles, often including homemaking, complete submission, and a male breadwinner. i think the whole “submission” aspect is def distasteful to today’s generation 😭

what you’re describing is a radical wife not a trad wife. people believe that being a trad wife is more ideological than it rlly is. a woman choosing to be a homemaker, prioritize her husband/family, and have a more traditional relationship dynamic doesn’t automatically mean she has no voice or is being controlled. if she is a consenting adult and willingly chooses this lifestyle while still being respected, i don’t see the issue
