Half right. My parents live in the (nicer) suburbs of one of the biggest cities in the country. When I was in school it wasn’t uncommon to meet Chinese foreign nationals 15-16 who lived alone, driving foreign cars, wearing only designer, in the US because their parents were the top 1% in china. I would imagined chinas elite youth doesn’t only venture to my neck of the woods so I included it 1. Because that’s what he is lol and 2. In case others are familiar with the concept.

There was a Chinese girl in one of my classes who had a perfectly manicured look from head to toe every day, designer all over, expensive jewelry, and I’m sure she had the car and apartment to match. It was just so jarring because my college is in a cornfield and not exactly the most prestigious
