This girl I dated (wlw) started dating a man this year, and suddenly now is fascist (I’m not calling her this, she happily claimed it) she says now that she’s homophobic, transphobic and hates liberals. I don’t have a political party (p1)

But I do believe in everyone having safety, and respect in their lives no matter their identity. Me and her live together, and she treats me like I’m stupid. She acts surprised when I tell her I know the same facts that she does. Is it reasonable to be extremely uncomfortable around her now??

I don’t want to be rude to her, but it makes me sick to my stomach that she excitedly says she hates all people other than her race and religion. I am considering moving out this week.

That’s my thought. I genuinely wanted to throw up hearing her talk to me. We have an lgbtq roomate and she legit word for word says stereotypes are for a reason, referring to our roomate.

Thank you. I just want to cry. I really liked her and was already sick feeling living together, but this like flipped how I view her 180 degrees and feel like an idiot for not knowing this is who she was the entire time

nooo don’t feel like that she just sounds like she is having trouble finding out what she likes or maybe someone made her afraid to express herself as wlw

I definitely think dating this guy has changed her so much. She admitted that now she likes to call people slurs as well including our roommate, which I’m assuming im included in the name calling too bc I’m lgbtq. Just feeling very unsafe in the environment emotionally now

definitely protect your peace as much as possible- situations like this can be so hard and truly heartbreaking. I’d say that if you want to confront her to maybe wait until after you leave or if something comes up you can try to have an open and honest convo w her but it doesn’t seem like she genuinely cares about others. this is so tough i’m sorry hun🫶
