It’s a PhD, I’m getting paid to do it. And I went to state college for undergrad.

Yeah do they get paid full ride? Very rarely! The knowledge you’d learn is the same at say Harvard as it is at a state college. You’re paying for the name which is idiotic 😂

You don’t pay, they pay your tuition, your room and board and give you money on top, you know nothing about getting a PhD in stem. So I recommend you shut your stupid fucking mouth

Ok so fair enough I can admit when I’m wrong. Just curious though if the information you are learning is the same at Stanford as it is at a state college why go to Stanford or Harvard? Is it maybe because the name? Is it maybe because of the prestige?

Probably but there are varying levels as I’ve seen. Like a true moron can’t admit when they are wrong

In STEM like CS, Math, Economics, it is worlds apart. I went to the top state school in my state for undergrad. Sophomores at Stanford are taking the same level difficulty of classes as phd students are taking at my undergrad. The graduate classes offered at Stanford are significantly more advanced and challenging than the grad classes at my undergrad.
