
The body can do wet dreams to self regulate; masturbation is not a need. This is dope, never stop stopping. Your overall health and mental and hormonal balance will slowly but surely improve the more you commit to this even if you relapse here and there (not saying you will, just saying this is worth long term effort regardless)
As someone with experience here, I’d recommend not going full cold turkey. It leads to way worse temptation and increases the likelihood of relapse. You are trying to rewire your brain on where it derives dopamine from, and it’s not an overnight change. Quit porn, and let yourself masturbate 3x a week to start, then 2x, then 1x is a good place to start IMO
