I actually have been in a relationship. 2 actually and guess what my ex hated it whenever I’d oppose what she wanted. She’d do whatever she wanted. Example 1, spend $$$ on a stupid masters degree and not use it to get a better job. $20k+ that could have gone towards our first house but noooooooooo I’ll use it to get a master degree that I won’t use to even improve my career

I was in full support of her getting a masters until she wasn’t even going to use it to improve her career. She basically just flushed $20k down the drain. My mindset was future family while hers was herself. She was mad at me for that. I moved 10+ hours to be closer to her. I made sacrifices to make things work but she never wanted to do it herself. That’s an entitled view
