For them it’s as easy as wanting a child. For women it’s not just wanting one, but having to endure 9 months of discomfort growing a person inside of you and a day of the most excruciating pain ever

cause it’s their biology. they want offspring that share their DNA. all humans are naturally wired that way. it also is probably ego

And they get the benefit of most likely giving said child their last name.

Well often adopted children also take in the family name
