Is it child abuse if the neighbors are playing music so loud they’re making their child cry?

Yes and depending on the kid’s age, younger kids have much more sensitive ear drums and can’t handle loud sounds or pressure changes comfortably

You can call your local police department’s non emergency line and explain the situation. Worst case, they write it off as nothing and you haven’t wasted any police resources by reporting it. Best case, they investigate and get CPS involved. No matter what though don’t call 911, just look up the non emergency number. And depending on the time of day it’s going on, they could at least get a noise complaint citation

if possibly find a way to do this while wasting police time and resources. win win for everyone, the kid gets help and the police get to go fuck themselves

I only say don’t waste police resources bc OP could get charged for it, not because I’m trying to stick up for the police 😅
