Something told me to go sit with a homeless lady today. We got Starbucks and sat and talked for over an hour. Her story was so sad and she was such a sweet soul. I bought her enough food for the week and walked her back to her shelter. I feel blessed.

Too many ppl are comfortable making fun of them. Or being scared of them or just ignoring them. A lot of homeless people just want to have a normal interaction and be actually seen. Obv it can b dangerous being w a random person or some who may have mental issues or drug problems. But we have to remember that not all homeless people. And even if they do you can still treat them like real people. we’re all humans 🤍🤍

actually the vast majority of homeless people do have mental health issues or struggle with addiction. OP did a good deed here but let’s not single out some “ideal” type of homeless person that deserves our support while the “addicts” and “crazy people” don’t
