We should also recognize that wanting to enforce our borders is not xenophobic and racist. Legal immigration is critical to the future of our country. Uncontrolled immigration could destroy it

however, wanting forced deportation for just illegal immigration is cruel and unusual punishment, and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn’t comprehend the consequences or considers illegal immigration to be a felony. enforcement is great when it’s not endangering people’s lives over a misdemeanor 👍

So what should happen to someone that illegally enters the country? Shouldn’t they be sent back where they came from? If someone breaks into your house you don’t let them stay.

oh, so you're one of those who considers undocumented immigrants to be violent invaders. thank you for providing the perfect example for my previous statement by comparing a misdemeanor to literal home invasion, which is a felony btw :)

I didn’t say anything about violent criminal. Some are, some aren’t. I’m assuming you think it’s just appropriate to have a slap on the wrist and then welcome them in. What is the point of a border. Come across legally. Become an American.
