To OPs point, there’s a saying “First impressions are lasting” that I was always told. Most people you meet will have enough based on appearance and mannerisms to sum you up in the first moments - enough to satisfy their curiosity at least. And that’s who you are. Make it your best

and if all you focus on is looking good, you’ll never keep them. im not saying physical appearance isn’t important bc it obviously is, i just don’t agree that it’s everything. if it was, you wouldn’t have needed to bring up personality

I didn’t say it’s everything, I said at first it’s the most important and that’s how you attract people: second part of my post says that personality is how you keep them
