He said “This relationship isn’t working. It’s over” when he came home from work last night. There was no fighting it happened very quietly and calmly. He was so calm the whole time.

Calling off your WEDDING and everything just like that is actually insane too. I’m very glad you handled it calmly, but that’s still absolutely wild, he had to have been thinking about it for a while which is even more fucked up, since that’s not all just an impulsive decision to make.

Oh i wasn’t calm. I had a panic attack while he sat there and watched me and then i cried all night. To make it worse i had just repaired his ring that broke as a surprise on Christmas. My life is crumbling. Mb ik you’re just a stranger

It’s okay!! We’re all anonymous here, don’t worry 😭 I literally can’t blame you at all for that reaction, your feelings are entirely valid there. The fact that he DEFINITELY had an idea of what he wanted to do there while you got his ring repaired is genuinely insane to me, and the fact that, even though the wedding was called off, he didn’t comfort you at all? I’m genuinely surprised that there’s people out there that can do stuff like that without a shred of remorse.
