I hate being a lawyer. I hate it so much. I cry everyday. I am good at it. I hate it.

I came into some money after my Dad passed so I paid off my debts so I could quit my job as a Teacher to work in a Warehouse. as I was so stressed and had no work/life balance. It’s been over a year since then and I don’t think I’ll ever get back into it. If anything I might pursue a new qualification in a different field.

Are you using AI? That would make your life way easier

There are limitations on my ability to use AI in the workforce. Even in the few ways I can use it, it is often wrong or misapplying the information so it’s not very helpful

I’m a lawyer too and that just sounds like you’re using it wrong. It’s fully capable of handling any and all litigation tasks. It can write scripts for phone calls, etc.

I won my last 2 oral arguments with punchy scripts written by AI lol just read the script verbatim

How do you get around the fact that you can’t disclose privileged information on open AI?

Open AI is trash, I use Grok. It’s the best by far

I would be careful that is information that can subpoenaed and can be reused

I don’t think so, and also I would just use more AI to fight against any pushback I get lol. There’s no case I can’t handle. I go up against lawyers with way more experience and win

I always uphold the highest ethical standards, but you’re clearly a novice when it comes to AI. It’s all about how you use it

I personally would not represent a client that tells my firm not to use AI. It’s going to be malpractice not to use it soon, like 2-3 years probably
