Or why can't the plus size people just lose enough weight to then fit in a normal seat

There’s a ride I wanted to go on at universal but they said me and my friends were too tall I almost fell to the ground screaming.

Bc they wouldn’t make as much money and it wouldn’t be as safe

Because weight matters on a rollercoaster, especially on the high thrill seeker rides. Rides can malfunction with improper weight balance and if so whose fault is it if the safety measure failed because the seat couldn’t properly close over someone’s belly or thighs but that person insisted on getting on the ride.

You shouldn’t have to lose 100 pounds to enjoy an amusement park that’s just my opinion 🤷‍♀️

I mean the companies have to make estimates, I would assume they would design the ride for the majority of people for safety so I wouldn't understand why unless it's strictly a park for plus size or small people

I get the safety part but not the money. I feel they’re losing revenue for the amount of fat people who avoid amusement parks bc of the embarrassment of not fitting on a ride

There’s a kid who lied abt his weight, got in the ride anyway and the seat malfunctioned, it opened while he was up in the air and he came flying down. Embarrassment?? Idk Teens wanna have fun too but it’s just not meant to held that much weight. Ppl get turned away for height also not just weight. I’m sure they want short ppls money too but not if their lives are at risk.
