Yes I miss when that wedding was drone striked in Yemen. I sure miss him causing the chaos in Libya. I miss that he did little to nothing about declining race relations in the us. What else do I miss about Obama?

By the way I’m not at all a conservative or maga, I’m quite far to the left I don’t think it’s healthy to romanticize Obama when he did terrible things, again not excusing Trump at all.

i miss the decency and calm he brought to the presidency. i miss the man who didn’t always make good choices but who was still a good man in a hard place. i miss the man who reformed the DOJ and made criminal justice reform a priority. i miss the man who took us out of the great recession successfully and helped to fix many of the problems bush caused. i miss the man who gave us the freaking Affordable Care Act. I miss the man who reformed Wall Street. it’s disingenuous to pretend he was bad.

I’m not pretending. I never said that everything Obama did was bad. Because as you mentioned, he did do some good things, and was a decent and respectful publicly. But what’s actually disingenuous is to gloss over his mistakes and romanticize him. Even Obama himself admitted that his actions on Libya was a mistake.

i don’t think anyone is glossing over his mistakes or romanticizing him, i think regardless of his mistakes he’s practically a saint compared to the trash fire we have in office right now. kind of like missing a time period in your life even if it had its own problems because it was nothing compared to what you’re going through right now.

I get ur point, and I get the nostalgia factor since I was also a kid during the Obama presidency and never really saw much of the bad with my own eyes, I was also a kid during the W bush administration so I also don’t remember much the bad. And I’ll give Obama credit for at least trying to do good and I agree he’s better than what we had now.
