Taking psych classes they always use the “women are emotional” argument to teach a lesson about pre conceived ideas. And although I know its just a lesson point and he isnt actually saying that, i always wanna bring this up. Crying is seen as emotional but punching walls and murdering people isnt
Women aren’t as oppressed as they think they are. “There is no female Mozart because there is no female Jack the Ripper”. Women have intrinsic self value by virtue of being able to create life while men have no self worth and need to seek a purpose in life wether it be creative like Shakespeare, warmongering like Alexander the Great or murder and attack women like Ted Bundy.
Do you guys think we derive purpose… from pregnancy? And specifically pregnancy, because the new life is 50% each parent once it’s born. Like I genuinely hate the fact that I could become pregnant and have thought about pursuing sterilization eventually… you guys think that’s what makes all or even most women tick? Genuinely curious actually
You’re just an asshole you know that? You’d villainize a men who acted this way about male perpetrated rape towards women. For the record, 50% of female victims fail to report their rape. 90-96% of men fail to report their rape, and of those who do, over half are ignored, never see trial, and some have even been arrested for making a false report with zero investigation. If you’re going to take a stand against violence, that means you stand against ALL violence. Every time.
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4062022/ Looking for a non pay walled for the second; but despite nearly half of reported crimes having women as perpetrators, only 27% of the total arrests were women. Bc women are less likely to be convicted than men literally bc they’re pretty - that source https://www.ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-library/abstracts/gender-differences-sentencing-felony-offenders#:~:text=Of%20all%20cases%2C%2098.1%20percent,5%20tables%20and%2040%20references.
The patriarchal/misogynistic society that has been set up for us is really the root of most issues, but the dark figures of crime surrounding the underreporting of crimes against men (again, due to social stigma and toxic masculine ideologies etc.) is not something to be taken lightly either
