Yea, so no guy is going to think that deeply about it. Guys will literally wrestle each other and physically fight for the fun of it and be best friends ten seconds later. He is not going to be upset if you ask for his number😭😭😭

Literally just do it! Men are way more chill! At utmost worst he will be flattered and will politely be like: “I’m sorry but I actually have a girlfriend. Thank you tho!”

Also it depends the job, like if he’s working at an ice cream shop, that very different than at an office yk. Also do you work there blah blah blah. I’m sure you can put together the details of will that cause social or personal issues, I think usually you good though
