 anytime i’ve asked someone the reasoning behind something they said or did, they’ve immediately jumped to defense mode. i never understand why bc i never ask as an attack but for perspective. some people j can’t handle any level of perceived confrontation

Sad to say I’ve started doing this a bit now. I used to answer honestly, but the amount of “I want a reason not an excuse” whenever I was doing something wrong that I didn’t know was wrong…yeah you kinda give up after awhile.😔

As someone who goes to immediate defense it’s just cause when I was a kid my family would always just assume I was doing something bad so it was quicker to defend myself
