I think it was just learning more about church history and also things in the book of mormon that basically prove that the whole book is a lie. I’m also queer so that influenced me leaving too

heads up drink lots of water! i cut out caffeine and now whenever i drink coffee it makes me super jittery and dehydrated. id imagine it’d do the same thing for a first time drinker the first couple of times

utahs changed a lot. a lot of mormons aren’t even mormon they just have family obligations. that’s just in utah county too. in salt lake county it’s getting progressively easier to casually leave the church

How do they explain way Joseph smiths many wives, how common is it for people to question Joseph smiths story, is the thing where Mormons have someone else shake the bed true, and why is there a joke about Mormons having “magic underwear”? I know a lot of these are stereotypes but this is the first opportunity I’ve had to ask an actual (ex)Mormon about it.
