well Judaism is the religion and Jewish is the people. I would say more people consider it an ethnic group than a race since it’s an ethnorelgion but those who do consider it a race usually use the argument that since during the holocaust there was a recognizable different from just white or any other race and they were isolated for being the Jewish ethnicity it was considered a race at the time.
