women shouldn’t have to operate with the expectation that an assault could happen, or might even be likely to happen. it’s not their fault they were assaulted, ingesting substances is not an invitation to be raped, it is in fact the exact opposite. the way some people are talking about this is absolutely abhorrent and i feel awful for the women who were raped they deserve so much better

Not at all actually. Even if she wanted to have sex with them(which her lawyer made clear was not the case) she could have decided at any point that she wanted to stop, that’s her right. If she wanted to stop and they kept going(7 hours btw) it’s still rape. She didn’t consent to it end of discussion.
