No it doesn’t actually. The ai watermarks aren’t just in the metadata of the original photo, they now exist on pixel level embedments that are readable on any capture of the image. SynthIDs are scanned by the Instagram ais to mark ai posts

All you have to do is ask to zoom out of original photo and make little touch-ups from there.
