My housemate ruined my $200 tracksuit by putting it in the dryer and leaving it in there w/ their stuff for over 2 hours. And when I told them off they just shrugged & said it must have just gotten mixed up and they don’t know what I want them to say.

Tell them they owe you $200. If they refuse then I’d be petty and tell them they can replace my shit or I can do fuck up $200 worth of their shit But you should probably just cut them off and make moves to leave or get a new roommate.

The thing is it was already drying on my clothes horse so I don’t fucking believe that it got mixed up with his stuff.

I’ll try but they’ll just be awkward about it and get other people involved and cause bigger problems. I only have another 6 weeks before I can leave & I’ve been trying to spend time staying over at my parents & gfs place so I can avoid him. He lost his job months ago but his parents pay his rent while he just bums out on the sofa playing Xbox 24/7 and making a mess. Without my contributions to the rent he’s screwed so he’s been hard to live with lately.

My best option is just try and avoid him as much as possible so I don’t end up getting into a fight with him. I also caught him out wearing my shirts multiple times & he always spills food down his shit.
