For me I don’t really have a problem committing, I just have a hard time gauging how long until they want me to commit, so I’ll either take things too seriously early on or I won’t take things seriously enough until it’s too late. My best advice for you would be to communicate that you actually want commitment and if he still doesn’t commit cut him loose
