Because if we’re going here and it’s not somewhere u want to go you’re gonna bitch and moan. “I don’t like museums, I don’t want to walk, I find movies boring” etc. The what do you want to do is factoring in ur desires and interests imo. I do think men should take the lead, but the person being lead should also want to follow. So if I don’t ask, I just say, I don’t wanna hear no push back
