Or maybe that’s the whole fucking point of merging so one big line doesn’t build up, cutting is one thing but properly using both lanes until the merging point is exactly what you’re suppose to do

I understand zipper merging, but what I was referencing wasn’t that. What inspired the post was people cutting the line that formed when an interstate exit was backed up. Instead of joining the line, they would wait until the last second and slam on their brakes in the left lane to try to cut in causing even more traffic

Thank you bro I fucking hate when nobody does the stupid zipper merge. If they wanted people to merge earlier then they would have put signage up to merge earlier
