I remember being poor back in my day was having vegetables and a side, but no meat. Or having to get called on the intercom to go to the front office to get a Friday food bag. We use to get leftover lunch from the school cause they knew we were poor.

I hear you. I was the poor kid too growing up. They had good run for thanksgiving and all the popular kids helped bringing it to people’s houses… I was bullied for years with that.

I’m sorry you went through that it’s crazy. I know how that feels we used to get backpacks of like hygiene stuff and kids found out. 😐 It was even worse when they found out we lived in a hotel. Like ppl don’t understand it messes up your mental health.

I’m so sorry. It’s why it’s important to teach kids early on about being humble & kind.

Parents definitely play a part. They tell their kids that if someone does not look like them or have the same things as them, they’re better than them. That’s not okay, and parents also need to stop gossiping in front of kids too.

Oh… you have no idea how much I agree with you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I was a nanny for 8 years for two different rich families and I cut their spoiled bs real quick.

Hell yeah, and then wonder why their kids end up getting into fights and they always lose. They messed with the wrong kids. Can’t bully someone and think they won’t get tired of it. It ain’t but so much a person can take. Especially when a child is going through it enough at home.
