My pet peeve is when someone doesn’t know some piece of basic elementary knowledge, and then they act like I’m a snooty nerd because I do know it.

Adding: when people act like they’re geniuses because of said basic elementary school knowledge. Especially in the case of “Our education system doesn’t want you to know this, but” THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN??? THAT WAS THIRD GRADE HISTORY CLASS IN MY RURAL SOUTH EASTERN US PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION????? I JUST THINK YOU PEOPLE DIDN’T PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS
