my relationship to “gender war” shit is quite possibly a little more ambiguous than it would be if I were a cis woman, but my material reality has never been that of a man’s, and if anything the fact that I was out as queer starting at a young age just means I’ve been subjected to homophobia / transphobia on top of the misogyny this whole damn time
