There’s a vice documentary called “The Rise of the Crisis Actor Conspiracy Movement” that talks about how people believe victims of mass/school shootings are actors being paid by anti-gun law groups and stuff. It’s about 20 minutes, pretty good

There are always conspiracies surrounding large (and tragic) events but there are people who believe that mass violence events are part of sacrifices, government operations (coverups, policy), surveillance, interference, etc etc. Lots of the theories are usually started by a figurehead, like when Tucker Carlson made a whole show saying that Jan 6th was a government operation with planted FBI actors who incited/entrapped conservatives so they could imprison them basically
