Not a defense since I haven’t been following (can’t handle another child murder case) and who knows what evidence will come out, but I feel like there are way too many cases of mothers being like “hey something is horribly wrong and I need help” or showing obvious signs of such and no one does anything until the kids are dead.

The medical providers might have failed her but this “No one did anything” narrative is bullshit. She had a lot of support from her family.

Family support can only do so much when it comes to psychosis unfortunately. I don’t know for sure that’s what happened but it’s not hard to believe with how overmedicated she was. I know the wrong medications had me hearing voices that pushed me to harm myself. Never others though.
